Genuinely feel silly leaving this review on a car wash but cannot say enough positive things! My husband and I constantly joke about our how much we love Papa Bear car wash! It is so fun to drive through and it thoroughly cleans your car! It has the best mat washing station after and so many vacuums! I love the smell of their air freshener and the bear is so cute! We won’t go to another car wash!🧸

The staff has never been rude, and the wash itself is decent, but I hope ownership sees this because situations like this can cost loyal customers. I had been a monthly wash club member for a while, even after the price increased from $20 to $25, and paid every month. One month, I changed debit cards, so the payment bounced without me realizing it. When I came back, I was ready to sign back up for the monthly club, but I had left my wallet at home and tried to pay with Apple Pay. I was told the machine couldn’t take Apple Pay for the subscription sign-up, even though it could take Apple Pay for a one-time wash. I understand that is probably a technical issue and likely above the employee’s ability to change, but that is exactly where I would hope there would be some discretion used. If a loyal customer is standing there trying to sign back up for a monthly membership, it seems like the better customer service move would be to let them through for that wash and help them get signed back up later. Instead, when I asked how much it would be to just pay for a single basic wash, I was told it was $15. At that point, I backed out and signed up with a competing car wash instead. They w

Very nice car wash. A little more expensive than their competitors all up and down Wade Hampton Blvd. I was a frequent patron of the former full service car wash that was there before PB and I had not used PB services before. I liked the service! Very thorough car wash! Lots and lots of amenities like a spay gun for the windows....another spray gun of "all purpose cleaner" which i used! Good vacuums. Overall I felt i paid more here but they do give you something better for your money! It is definitely worth the money!

I visited this location for the first time and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After my vehicle went through the wash, I discovered scratches in three separate areas along the driver’s side. I filed a damage claim on Sunday and was told I would receive a follow-up call by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I did not receive any communication even after I left 2 voicemails Wednesday and Thursday until Friday morning and only after I reached out via social media Thursday night to express my concern about the lack of follow-up. This delay alone reflects poorly on their customer service and responsiveness. Their explanation for my scratches is both dismissive and unconvincing and I am confident these scratches were not present prior to entering their wash. I personally inspected my car immediately afterward and observed the damage clearly. Rather than taking ownership or conducting a thorough and fair review of the situation, the responsibility was shifted onto me without any meaningful consideration of the facts. That is unacceptable. I have only had my car a month and it’s brand new. I ran it through papa bears and noticed scratches on the front of my vehicle so I went and got a manager to look at it. He proceeded to tell me that it was not their car wash bc the scratches were inconsistent with the way the brushes spin. I canceled my membership immediately. I had a lady come over to me after hearing what was happening and said the very same thing happened to her and the manager had shrugged it off. I began drying off the sides of my car and realized it was all over my vehicle and it was evident that it was from the brushes. I went and got the manager again and he filed an incident report. Today I received a call from the manager stating the same bs that the cameras quality wasn’t that great so he couldn’t tell if the scratches were there prior to my car entering the tunnel and then again that the scratches were inconsistent with the way the brushes turn… I called him out on his bs. I am very particular about my vehicle, maybe OCD. I take car of my car and always go over my vehicle while drying it off. It was 100% the car wash. He then offered me free car wash cards that I rejected instantly bc I will never use
